The Blizzard struggled against the Lumberjacks 4-1 in home game

During the second, Sikich opened the scoring for Granite City with a goal at 9:05 with an assist from his linemate Altena.

In the third, Brett finally put Alexandria on the board with a goal at 1:05 with helpers from his linemates, Brenden and Jack. Neu quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:07 with assists from teammates Deboom and Salz. Schwehr deposited a goal at 4:36 with helpers from Pearson and Baker. Troumbly scored a goal at 13:42 with an assist from fellow Lumberjacks forward Moran.

This loss brings the Alexandria Blizzard’s record to (1-2-0-0).
