Frischmon’s goals lift Alexandria to 5-1 victory over La Crosse

Frischmon had a great game for Alexandria, netting two goals.

Alexandria\’s penalty kill excelled, as Alexandria gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Alexandria stifled La Crosse\’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Alexandria also got points from Trent Olson, who also registered one goal and one assist and Aaron Ryback, who also registered one goal and one assist. Dawson Ellingsworth also scored for Alexandria. More assists for Alexandria came via Tony Arias, Caleb Anderson, and Logan Norman, who contributed two apiece.

La Crosse could not produce their normal offensive output. La Crosse puts an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game.

La Crosse were led by Ben Henderson, who scored the team\’s only goal. Henderson scored in the first period to make the score 2-1 Alexandria. The goal was assisted by Dylan Goggin and JP Eykyn.

Chance Kremer recorded 20 saves for Alexandria. Alexandria totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-4 on the power play. Alexandria ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Luke Erickson was ejected from the game. Will Graves made 23 saves for La Crosse on 27 shots. La Crosse incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
