The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Matt Scribner has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Mary.
Scribner, 20, played three years in Alexandria for the Blizzard, appearing in a total of 133 games, 11 of which being Fraser Cup Playoff games. The Fergus Falls, MN native registered 67 points (10 goals, 57 assists), including a career high plus-minus of +28 during the 2022-23 season.
As a defensive producer for the Blizzard, the 6’4” blueliner recorded two or more points in a single contest on 13 occasions, including two three-point games, notching three assists during both instances.
Scribner is the 8th player to commit for the Blizzard this season.
