Alexandria is in the middle of a 3 game home stand knocking off Granite City and Willmar so far.
Wednesday night they took control of Willmar from the outset en route to a 9-2 victory. Jack Carter scored two and a half minutes into the game off a nice two on one down low with Bazl Cook. A few minutes later, Jayden Luck scored his first Junior Hockey goal with assists from Justin Wasvick and Cole Klingbeil. Sean Kenny came through with his 1st and 2nd goals upon his return for a 4-0 lead after one. The Blizzard added three more in the 2nd including Kenny’s Hat Trick for a 7-1 lead after two. Ryan Hadland and Caleb Moore scored 3rd period goals to finish off the Warhawks. Ryan Hadland erupted for 6 points (2G, 4A) Sean Kenny had a 4 point night (3G, 1A), Caleb Moore had a 3 point night (1G, 2A) Charlie Larson and Joe Gronholz had 2 point nights, and Ethan Moerke scored for the second straight game. Kyle Abrahamson made 32 saves to improve to 6-2-0-1.
