Blizzard overwhelm North Stars 9-3

The night after the Alexandria BLizzard lose a heartbreaker to the Bulls of North Iowa, they return with a huge night all around. The Blizzard score 9 goals from an assortment of players. Everyone is getting in on the action on Saturday night since everything seemed to be going the way of the Blizzard.
The goals came early and often, the North Stars had a mountain to climb by the time they even looked at the scoreboard. First period goals from Pelzar, Casey, Ecklund, and Coenen seemed to be all that was needed to break the will of Breezy Point. The Blizzard did not stop as the game continued with 2 goals from Siedel, one from Zerfas, and one from Dhein in the 2nd period. The second period was when Breezy Point decided to make it a game by scoring three times. It just wasnt enough as Coenen from the Blizzard finished things off in the third.
The Blizzard are back in action next Friday against division leader Granite City. They hope to gain some ground in the division as they go for a home win.
