Blizzard Cap Off Road Trip with Shutout at New Ulm

Alexandria wrapped up a five game road trip winning 4 of 5 capped off by a 5-0 shutout at New Ulm on Wednesday night. Brady Goff scored his 1st Junior Hockey goal late in the 1st period off a shot from the point. Cole Klinbgeil scored moments later for a 2-0 Blizzard lead after one. Alexandria put the game away in the 2nd period with three more goals from Zach DeMarce, Klingbeil’s second of the game, and Blaze Braswell’s 1st Junior Hockey tally. Alex Heidenreich had a 2 point night and Andrew Tuttle earned his 2nd shutout against New Ulm this year.

Alexandria (9-7 – 18 points) have won 8 of their last 10 games and sit in 3rd place three points ahead of Willmar who come to town on Saturday night at 7:10 pm.
