The Alexandria Blizzard, proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), are excited to announce that forward Ike Taraszewski has earned a call-up to the St Cloud Blizzard of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Taraszewski will play for the Blizzard for the remainder of the season starting this past weekend.
Taraszewski scored in his first game with St. Cloud this past weekend, a 4-2 loss at Austin.
The Wayzata, Minnesota native is Alexandria’s second leading scorer with 14 goals to go along with his 22 assists. Taraszewski joined Alexandria midway through last season playing 24 games and averaging just under a point per game at 11 goals and 10 assists.
Taraszewski recently tied an Alexandria Blizzard franchise record by scoring 5 goals in a 15-1 victory over the Breezy Point North stars last weekend.
