The Blizzard fall to the Steel 4-2

Kyle Hayden came up big, stopping 44 of 48 shots throughout the game. The New Ulm Steel took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Jack Parks.

Jarrett Cammarata chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Max Kjome had a busy night with 2 assists.

During the first period, Reilly opened the scoring for the Steel with a goal at 9:20 with helpers from his teammates Miller and Kjome. Hermann quickly followed with a goal at 9:53 with helpers from Johnson and Skar. Benson quickly followed with a goal at 10:26.

In the second, Mordini answered for New Ulm with a goal at 7:57 with assists from Woytcke and Coppock. Parks put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:02 with helpers from Kjome and Cammarata.

During the third period, Cammarata scored a goal at 18:21 with assists from Nagel and Woytcke.

This loss brings the Alexandria Blizzard’s record to (19-13-0-1).
