BLIZZARD PUT UP 7 AGAINST WARHAWKS

The offense came to life at the RCC tonight with the Blizzard scoring 3 1st period goals, a pair of short handed goals all with nearly 90 combined minutes of penalty minutes. Jack Carter opened the scoring at the 4:55 mark with  Parker Anthony and Eli Paloranta getting the assist. Tyler Kludt added two goals of his own, the first short handed with Matt Scribner and Joe Gronholz getting the helpers and Eli Fletcher and Joe Gronholz assisting on the 2nd.

Aiden Prohaska started the scoring in the 2nd with Ashton Collings and Tyler Kludt getting the helpers with Eli Fletcher getting a goal of his own with Justin Wasvick and Tyler Kludt assisting. Willmar eventually got one past LaCrosse and followed up with a quick 2nd goal goal to make it a 5-2 game going into the 3rd period.

Justin Wasvick opened the scoring for the 3rd with an unassisted goal with another short handed goal coming with Ashton Collings with Ethan Boughton and Markus Olson getting the assists. Blizzard held a slight advantage in shots on goal, 35 to 31 while capitalizing on 2 power plays and the 2 short handed goals.

Blizzard return to action Friday when the MN Loons come to town. Puck drop is 7:10P.
