The Blizzard crushed the North Stars 5-2

The Alexandria Blizzard's offense had a big night, peppering the Breezy Point North Stars with 42 shots throughout the game. The Alexandria Blizzard took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Michael Behl.

Brett Meister contributed with 2 goals and Riley Scanlon delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Wieber opened the scoring for the North Stars with a goal at 1:33 with a helper from his teammate Hoyt. Meister quickly followed with a goal at 3:30 with assists from his linemates, Dropik and Roen. Scanlon put in a goal at 6:03 with helpers from Skar and Benson.

In the second period, Behl netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:21 with assists from Scanlon and Mellstrom.

During the third, Fladebo answered for the North Stars with a goal at 5:39 with helpers from his linemates, Maucieri and Langworthy. Meister answered for the Blizzard with a goal at 14:46 with assists from Skar and Dahlseide. Scanlon netted a goal at 19:11 with helpers from Johnson and Mellstrom.

Alexandria’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Levinski’s big night as he stopped 27 of the 29 shots he faced. Levinski’s counterpart, Ehrlich, also had a big night, managing to stop 37 of 42, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Alexandria Blizzard’s record to (4-5-0-0).
