Matt McIntyre and Jameson O’Flynn got the assists on Kingery’s goal. Konrad Kausch made 15 saves in the win.

Game 2:
The Blizzard met Granite City on Thursday to close out their pool play and captured the top seed with a 3-1 victory. Moments later Matt McIntyre led a 3 on 1 up the ice and held onto the puck until he found Justin Kingery on the far post for a 2-0 lead heading into the 3rd period. Granite City got on the board early in the 3rd but Ryan Hadland responded with his 2ndgoal of the tournament off a nice feed from Sean Kenny to restore the 2 goal lead.
