Graphic Designer

The Blizzard, along with affiliated Willmar WarHawks and St. Cloud Norsemen are looking to add a graphic designer to our team. Whether currently enrolled or a recent graduate, this is a great opportunity to start your career. While the ideal candidate would have a passion for hockey or at least sports, we can always turn you into a hockey fan!

  • Must be proficient with Adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop
  • General understanding of social media platforms
  • Knowledge of WordPress websites is a plus

Game Day Supervisor

The Alexandria Blizzard are seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the game day supervisor for the 2020-2021 Season. The Game Day supervisor is expected to work all 22 regular season home games plus any playoff home games. Ideal candidates will be committed to customer service and dedicated to improving all aspects of the guest experiences.

Game Day supervisor is expected to arrive at the arena approximately three (3) hours before the start of each game. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities may include:

Arena Operations (pre-game set-up and post-game breakdown)

On-Ice intermission promotions

Fan promotions

Birthday Party/VIP Group liaison

Guest Services

Qualifications and Requirements:

Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry

Display strong communication and interpersonal skills

Show initiative and be a self-starter

Must be available to work all home games during the season

 

Game Day Camera Operator

The Alexandria Blizzard are seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the game day camera operator for the 2020-2021 Season. The Game Day camera operator is expected to work all 22 regular season home games plus any playoff home games. Ideal candidates will be committed to working at all games and can operate a video camera to follow along with the play during the game.

Game Day camera operator is expected to arrive at the arena approximately thirty (30) minutes before the start of each game. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities may include:

Operate Hockey TV camera during game

Arena Operations (pre-game set-up and post-game breakdown if needed)

On-Ice intermission promotions (if needed)

Qualifications and Requirements:

Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry

Must be available to work all home games during the season

Must be able to follow the game action while operating a camera
