The Alexandria Blizzard Organization is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Crouse to Head Coach of the new NA3HL franchise. Crouse previously served as the Assistant Coach of the Alexandria Blizzard NAHL franchise for the past 3 seasons.
“We are very excited to have Jeff become the Head Coach of our Alexandria team,” said Blizzard Owner Mitri Canavati, “He has done a great job with the Blizzard organization and has earned this opportunity.”
The other piece to the puzzle was the head coaching position for the Brookings Blizzard organization. The position was originally intended to be filled by Doc Delcastillo who led the Alexandria squad over the past 3 seasons with Crouse.
On Tuesday morning is was announced that Delcastillo would be named the Head Coach of Division III powerhouse Hamline University.
“Just as the organization’s goal is to move young men onto the next step of their hockey career, the same goal applies for our coaches and staff,” said Blizzard Owner Chris Canavati, “we are excited for Doc and his family and we wish him nothing but the best.”
Over the past 3 seasons Delcastillo has amassed a regular season record of 103-56-17 with a playoff record of 6-10.
The Blizzard Hockey Organization is currently in search for a head coach to take over the Brookings Blizzard NAHL franchise.
