The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Karsten Senden has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Utah.
Senden, 21, began his NA3HL career during the 2021-2022 season with the Granite City Lumberjacks, appearing in 18 games before making the switch to Alexandria where he would spend the remainder of his three year career.
During his time with the Blizzard, the Eagle River, AK native skated in 88 regular season games for Alexandria, totalling 43 points (12 goals, 31 assists). As a consistent playoff contender, Senden and the Blizzard made a postseason push for three consecutive seasons, a total of 13 Fraser Cup Playoff games played.
Senden was the third player to commit for the Blizzard this season.
