ALEXANDRIA BLIZZARD DEFEAT WILLMAR WARHAWKS 6-3
The Alexandria Blizzard took the ice for the first time this season taking on the Willmar Warhawks. The Blizzard took a 2-1 lead going into the 2nd period but Willmar was able to tie it up with a strong second period with the tying goal coming during the final seconds. Blizzard were able to find the back of the net 3 times in the 3rd period with Wasvick getting the empty netter to seal the game after what would have been Willmar’s 4th goal was waved off.
