On Friday night the Blizzard welcomed New Ulm to the RCC for the first time this year, and improved their perfect record to 5-0 against the Steel with a 4-1 victory. Dallas Duckson opened the scoring with his 7th goal of the year. Wesley Johnson fed him in front where he knocked in his own rebound. Carter Rieland also picked up an assist. In the second period Cole Jacobs scored twice continuing his onslaught against New Ulm this year. Jacbos received a nice pass from Colin Tushie in the slot and slid the puck between the pads for a 2-0 Blizzard lead. Seven minutes later he made it 3-0 as he cut into the slot from the corner and rifled home his 6th of the season. Duckson and Rieland picked up the assists. Jacobs has 11 points (4G 7A) in 5 games against the Steel. Andrew Revering capped the night off with a power play goal in the 3rd period.
