The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that veteran Matt McIntyre has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Jamestown.
McIntyre, 20, wrapped up his third and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. A three year veteran player for the Blizzard, the Blaine, MN native appeared in 93 regular season games, tallying 73 points (36 goals, 37 assists).
Throughout his time with Alexandria, the Blizzard were playoff qualifiers for three consecutive seasons where the 6’0” forward skated in a total of 13 Fraser Cup Playoff games. During the postseason, McIntyre tallied a total of 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists).
McIntyre is the first player to commit for the Blizzard this season.
