10 BLIZZARD PLAYERS NET GOALS WITH 12-0 WIN OVER LOONS

Despite a smaller crowd with a Wednesday game at the RCC, the #BlizzShow showed up in full force for 100.7 KIK FM Country Night with 10 different Blizzard players scoring enroute to a 12-0 victory over the Minnesota Loons. Tyler Kludt opened the scoring with the power play goal at the 3:16 mark of the 1st period on a play from Aiden Prochaska and Nolan LaCosse getting his 5th assist of the year. The Blizzard doubled their lead late in the 1st with a Jack Dube goal at the 19:55 mark with Parker Anthony and Jack Carter earning the assists.

The Blizzard and Loons skated scoreless for the first half of the 2nd period until Ethan Boughton scored short handed to make it 3-0 on a play from Jack Carter and Jack Dube. Moments later Justin Wasvick made his return to the ice known with his 20th goal of the season at the 12:54 mark of the 2nd and Bazl Cook and Chris Fotopoulos getting the assists. Setting the theme, Justin Wasvick scored late in the period again at the 19:55 mark on a play from Caleb Waller and Bazl Cook for the 5-0 lead heading into the 2nd intermission.

Someone better check on the goal buzzer at the RCC with the Blizzard adding 7 goals in the 3rd period. Karsten Senden started the 3rd period scoring at the 1:34 mark on a play from Bazl Cook and Chris Fotopoulos followed by a Zach Benson goal at the 6:21 mark with Tyler Kludt and Joe Gronholz earning the apples. The Blizzard followed up with a Bazl Cook goal at the 9:48 mark assisted by Justin Wasvick and Aiden Prochaska. In what was a minute long fleury started by the Cook goal, Aiden Prochaska scored at the 10:22 mark assisted by Cook and Matt Scribner scoring at the 10:38 mark assisted by Zach Benson and Joe Gronholz. In another scoring burst, Gaborik Olson and Tyler Kludt scored 30 seconds apart to make it 12-0 Blizzard. Colin Becker and Joe Gronholz assisted on the Olson goal and Bazl Cook and Chris Fotopoulos assisted on the Kludt goal.

Shots on goal were 88 to 11 in favor of the Blizzard with Nolan LaCosse earning the shutout.
