As you consider being a Blizzard host family, take a look at the following information:
- Each month, you will receive a $225 monthly stipend for each player hosted to help defer some of the expenses incurred (grocery costs, etc.).
- The monthly stipend will be issued to you through the Alexandria Blizzard office.
- Please be aware - This is NOT a "money making" thing.
- In addition to the stipend, you will also receive two season tickets to the Blizzard games for each player you host.
What we ask of you:
- Provide a private room and nutritious meals for your player.
- If you are unable to provide daily meals, nutritious foods should be available in your home for the player to eat.
- Remember, the players should be considered "one of the family", not a renter or boarder.
What you and your family will gain is an opportunity to make lasting memories and a lifelong friend for your family and the player.
