La Crosse falls apart in second, loses to Alexandria, 7-2

Mason Hautala was all over the ice for Alexandria, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Hautala scored the first of his two goals at 11:23 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Alexandria. Louis Gerzin claimed the first assist on the goal, and Steven Gustafson got the second. Hautala\’s next tally made the score 4-1 Alexandria in the second period. The goal was assisted by David Carey and Luke Erickson.

Alexandria pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 28 penalty minutes.

More assists for Alexandria came via Tyler Frischmon, Alex Bowe, and Aaron Ryback, who contributed one apiece.
