Alexandria rips Minnesota, 8-0

Alexandria had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-0 win over Minnesota.

Tony Arias was all over the ice for Alexandria, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Arias scored the first of his two goals at 5:13 into the second period to make the score 4-0 Alexandria. Alex Bowe picked up the assist. Arias\’ next tally made the score 6-0 Alexandria with 2:07 left in the second period. Dawson Ellingsworth provided the assist.

Alexandria excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Alexandria forced Minnesota goalie Dakota McDonald to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.
